6:45pm – AWANA Store: Students can buy toys with AWANA bucks they earned from previous nights before the opening ceremony begins.

7pm – Opening Ceremony: All clubbers meet in the gym for prayer, announcements, and recital of pledges.

7:05pm – Club Time: Each of the three clubs (Cubbies (Pre-K), Sparks (K-2 nd grade), and T&T (3 rd-6 th grade) rotate between three stations.

  • Handbooks – Clubbers work through sections in their book by memorizing and reciting scripture and other biblical principles that are laid out for their grade level.
  • Council – Clubbers gather around to hear a mini-lesson from one of the leaders. Normally a special “object” is used to help communicate the major theme of the lesson.
  • Games – Clubbers meet in the gym to play traditional AWANA games on the AWANA circle. Other favorite games are also played from time to time.

8:20pm – Closing Ceremony: All Clubbers meet in the gym for nightly awards and a lesson recap by select students..
